Pass the GACE Blog presents news and information for individuals who must take the Basic Skills portion of the Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators (GACE). The Basic Skills section of the GACE is a four-hour exam divided into three different sections—a multiple-choice Reading section, a multiple-choice Mathematics section, and a Writing section. The Writing section consists of two areas: selected-response questions (multiple-choice) and a constructed-response (essay) assignment.
